A New Beginning: The Tech Journey

I have been in the IT industry for 12+ years now. However, this space is so wide and so deep that one has to constantly learn new stuff. Both, from a career perspective as well as to keep up with the technological advancements in niche fields.
This website has been up for a while now. I primarily used this as my scribbling-pad or my own sounding board. However, as always been my intention - I'm expanding this to include regular write-ups. Especially in the Tech-field.
One of my mentors in the early stages of my career had this advice for me - do a job-search at least twice a year and especially look at the JD (Job Description) of some the top companies in IT. This is essentially a good measure on self-evaluation. With this as the background, I started trawling through the JDs in the 'Data' sphere of top companies.
And I narrowed it down to these focus areas:
Kafka / SQS / Kinesis, Celery, RabbitMQ & ActiveMQ
AWS: Glue, Lambda, Lake Formation, EMR, Elastic Search
Spark: Scala/Python
CAP Theorem
Github
Docker / Kubernetes

That is indeed a mouthful :-)
Now the objective is not to be superficial. To an extent I already knew most of these to varying degrees of expertise and confidence. But, the objective here is to dive deeper. I have been working in the 'Data' sphere for so long that these seemingly disparate tech-stack is something I'm pretty familiar with but I'm not a "guru" with this (yet) !!!
So, let's get the hands-dirty. I will continue to write on topics as part of my this learning journey. Let there be 'code' !
